Announcements from the Independence Alumni Association Visit the Indy Boosters Website Volunteers Needed for Student Mock InterviewsHello IHS Alums! Please consider helping out our I H S Guidance Counselor Mary Dolejs as she prepares students for actual job interviews through mock interviews. The mock interview is an emulation of a job interview used for training purposes. It resembles a real interview as closely as possible, for the purpose of providing experience for a candidate. Being part of the Mock Interview team will give you a chance to make a difference in the lives of several students and give you an opportunity to connect with future IHS alums. It will be fun and rewarding! Use the link below to sign up as a volunteer for mock interviews, job shadow, senior capstone project, or career development speaker at Independence High School. The Varsity Basketball Game will be on Saturday, February 9th. IHS is having a boys' & girls' double-header that day. The Hall of Fame inductees will be introduced at halftime of the 2nd game. The varsity games should start between 5:30 and 6:00. A few rows in the bleachers will be reserved for the IHS Alumni Association. See you there.
